Education
Rapidly changing technology and demand for new services create training challenges for library staff. Each regional network designs a professional development program to meet the specific needs of its members. Many networks offer online as well as face-to-face courses and customized courses as requested. Courses range from management and technology to hands-on training for general use software and OCLC services.
In addition, many networks participate in the Network Education Exchange, a cooperative online training program that maximizes expertise and extends training capabilities by sharing their online courses with all the members of the participating networks.
